Welcome to Alternative Automotive Solutions, a company committed to professionally refurbishing and reselling  salvage titled cars.

We offer a great alternative to the over-priced Mini Coopers out there. Our objective is simple.  To sell quality newer Mini Coopers at the best possible price.

We selectively purchase  wrecked Minis from insurance companies. Most of these cars are in running/ driving order. Cosmetic intensive damage is the best type of damaged cars to fix. We do NOT buy any mechanical damaged cars or cars with significant frame and or suspension damage.

Our facility incorporates an auto-dismantling section which disassembles  certain Mini Coopers for the sole purpose of parts. This makes the repair process efficient and proper. It also benefits the consumer because we have excess parts should they need one in the future.

Once parts are in place,  A body-man with over 30 years experience is on staff to put  it all back together.

Reasonable cash offers are preferred. In-house financing is available for local residents only. 40% of asking price is required for down payment.

Our Standards

-Each car comes with a complete set of pictures prior and during the repair process
-Cars are test driven by owner to make sure there are no defects
-Alignments are performed by a third party specialist to insure drive quality
-A copy of the NMVTIS Report is presented in order to see claims on vehicles and to insure correct mileage, number of owners etc.
-All cars perform CALIFORNIA anti-theft and safety inspections, or other jurisdiction procedures, to ensure the vehicle was rebuilt to required standards.

Salvage Title Explanation

– Any vehicle which has been wrecked, destroyed or damaged, to the extent that the total estimated or actual cost of parts and labor to rebuild or reconstruct the vehicle to its pre-accident condition and for legal operation on roads or highways exceeds a jurisdiction-defined percentage of the retail value of the vehicle. The retail value of the vehicle is determined by a current edition of a nationally recognized compilation (to include automated data bases) of retail values. Salvage–Damage or Not Specified also includes any vehicle to which an insurance company acquires ownership pursuant to a damage settlement, or any vehicle that the vehicle’s owner may wish to designate as a salvage vehicle by obtaining a salvage title, without regard to extent of the vehicle’s damage and repairs, or any vehicle for which the jurisdiction cannot distinguish the reason the vehicle was designated salvage.
